SUPRACID grant a complete and safe removal of mineral salts from cotto tiles pores. Washing with SUPRACID is essential to remove the white efflorescence from new floors. SUPRACID can be used to remove encrustation from gres, clinker and smooth stone floors.

METHOD OF USE

Before being treated with primer, sealant or wax, the cotto tiles floor must be subjected to the following type of treatment: work on the floor only after it is completely dry. This takes about 20-40 days from the laying. During favourable climatic conditions, drying floor time is shorter
1) Washing with SUPRACID: wash the floor with a 10-30% (1000-3000g in 10 lt of water) solution. During the operation, we recommend to use form 1 to 3% of MISTRAL (100-300g in 10l of water) to neutralize the eventual acid residue remained on the cotto tiles.
2) If the “acid wash” has been carried out carefully, there must be no mineral salt “bloom” on the floor surface. If happen, repeat the washing treatment.
3) After the “acid wash”, dry the floor thoroughly. In dry climate or in the presence of heating system, the floor will dry completely in three days.
